About the Speaking Engagement (lecture goals / learning outcomes)
This is a request for the 10-month long Merge Media Academy course.
Merge Media Academy is the primary subset of The Merge Project, a global consulting and media literacy platform.
Students will learn content creation and reporting in the mediums of radio, television, podcasting and social media. They will also be taught how to successfully navigate between mediums as well as how the selected medium influences content delivery and presentation.
A monetary 'thank you' is offered.

Potential Topic(s)
Create/submit a 5-minute video discussing the importance of mental health in the workplace.
The self-produced videos will be shared with students ages 18 plus, via our Canvas LMS.

About the Founder
Lynn Briggs has worked for more than four decades in the media broadcasting space. As a program director, music director and on-air personality, Briggs worked in many of the largest broadcasting markets including Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Las
Vegas and Santa Barbara. She is also a member of the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame and was named Billboard Magazine’s On-Air Personality of the Year
As student advisor and executive producer at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Briggs created the university’s inaugural morning show “The Morning Rebellion” and was instrumental in media placement for several UNLV graduates.
