About the Speaking Engagement (lecture goals / learning outcomes)
Note from student:
I have been a lifelong pro wrestling fan, specifically WWE. This year I have gained interest in other promotions or the "Independent Circuit" like AEW, ROH, NJPW, and attending local shoes. I am a fraternity member of Sigma Pi since 2017, I learned my leadership skills in my term as President. Currently I am taking a social media internship for Tunnel Vision Sports, and slowly I am learning more about each sport.
I enjoy strategic planning into creating brand awareness for my fraternity, although I am not skilled in graphic design I had a lot of input into our social media posts. My interest for promoting came from watching WWE, I love the product presentation of video packages that promoted pay per views, and as I grew up I admired WWEs philanthropy campaigns like Connors Cure and Be A Star.
As the media evolved I became interested in podcasting, my supervisor plans on launching a wrestling podcast on Tunnel Vision Sports, but first I would like to practice on my own before presenting them. So far, I have attended two wrestling events and exchange contacts with over 20 wrestlers but I do not have a niche.
