About Me

I have recently developed a novel blood-brain barrier (BBB) microfluidic chip that has heterogeneous shear stress distribution like the capillaries of the brain. This BBB chip is first-of-its-kind in the known literature. My research findings have been published in Advanced Biology journal (https://doi.org/10.1002/adbi.202200152).During my PhD, I have acquired a vast skill set that includes microfabrication, 3D printing using laser lithography, and development of microphysiological system, computational fluid dynamics, 3D cell culture for organ-on-chips, 3D confocal imaging, TEER measurements, and proteomics. I am interested in being a speaker and judge at conferences related to replacing animal testing.
