About Me
Ed's journey is as unique as the leadership model he champions. With a 20-year tenure in law enforcement, McManus has held roles that tested and honed his leadership skills in some of the most high-pressure situations imaginable. From commanding a S.W.A.T. Team to administering a Bomb Squad and Crisis Negotiation Team, his experiences have provided him with unparalleled insights into the dynamics of leadership and team cohesion.
Growing up in a low-income neighborhood and living a few doors from a “suspected” serial killer, Ed shares how this experience led him to a career in law enforcement and the subsequent Leadership skills to follow.
Ed has worked with a variety of municipal and corporate entities, introducing Relationship Leadership training and speaking to their organizations. The impact is profound, changing the way teams lead and laying the foundation for success as powerful Relationship leaders. His witty and entertaining perspective not only makes the learning process enjoyable but also effective, fostering a positive shift in workplace dynamics.
