About Me
Rebecca A. Bogie, DBA, CMA is an Instructor in the College of Business at Louisiana State University-Shreveport (LSUS). She teaches introductory financial, introductory managerial, and cost accounting at the undergraduate level as well as accounting fundamentals at the graduate level. Her research interests include managerial accounting, corporate governance, ethics, and strategy.
Prior to joining LSUS full-time in 2020, Dr. Bogie taught accounting, ethics, and management on an adjunct basis while working in corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A). In her corporate career, Dr. Bogie led FP&A activities and teams for global employers such as RGP (consulting at Toyota Motor North America), MoneyGram International, Xerox HR Solutions, Deloitte Consulting/Services, and Kraft Foods. Her early career focus was outsourced human resources where she gained experience in employee benefits management, payroll, and general workforce support services.
